Torquay Marina

We've got some great news to share! MDL has successfully passed its latest assessments and retained all three internationally recognised ISO certifications.

We first achieved these in 2022, becoming the first UK marina operator to hold all three. Few UK marina operators hold these certifications, so retaining them is a real achievement and something we can all be proud of.

Our three certifications are:

ISO 9001 – Quality Management: Delivering consistent, reliable services and continually improving the experience we provide our customers.

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management: Reducing our environmental impact and looking after the marine environments we operate in.

ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety: Keeping our colleagues, customers and visitors safe.

Kelvin capture these beauts today.

As he approached them, they said;

"Before anyone asks, yes, we've reserved these berths.

No, we won't be moving.

No, there isn't a booking reference.

Yes, we know the harbourmaster."

It’s currently unknown whether or not they paid their berthing fee, but they did request their invoice be sent to The Seal Project 🤔 We await their response…………

September has certainly been putting on a show!

These beautiful sunsets over the marina have treated us to golden reflections, dramatic skies and picture-perfect evenings on the pontoons.

As summer gently gives way to autumn, there's still plenty of time to enjoy being out on the water and soak up views like these.

Whether you're returning from a day afloat or simply taking a stroll along the waterfront, it's moments like these that remind us why we love life at the marina. 💙

📸 We'd love to see your September photos too – share them in the comments below!
