🚛 2026 Fleet Investment – The First of Many 🚛

We’re pleased to introduce the first of our 2026 vehicles to the Wrights Of Twycross Ltd fleet — a brand new Scania P500 Lorry Loader equipped with a Fassi F545RA crane.

Supplied by Peter Knowles at Macs Truck Sales Ltd, this truck is built for performance and versatility, featuring:

✅ Premium infotainment system
✅ Cheesewedge-style body
✅ Galvanised headboard and ramps
✅ Integrated winch
✅ Full living package, including fridge and microwave

This vehicle is ready to support our growing specialist lifting operations across the United Kingdom.

Alongside this, we’re proud to see two exceptional Volvo FM 8x4 tippers (Trucks 5 & 6 of our current order) join the operation.

Both units are equipped with:

✅ X-High chassis and Globetrotter cab
✅ 13L 420hp engine
✅ Market-leading I-Shift gearbox
✅ Mobile Awareness Products roof beacon and front strobes
✅ Full living package, including fridge and microwave
✅ Swadlincote Aluminium tipper body

🚛 It’s looking very blue on the farm today… 💙

This morning we’ve taken delivery of four new Volvo trucks, marking another positive step forward for the business.

The fleet additions include:
• 2 x Volvo Tipper Builds, delivered in collaboration with Swadlincote Aluminium & Welding
• 2 x Volvo FH Aero Tractor Units

The Volvo FH Aero is widely recognised as a market leader in fuel efficiency, thanks to its advanced aerodynamic design, improved cab profile and latest drivetrain technology. These vehicles support our ongoing commitment to reducing fuel consumption, lowering emissions and operating a more environmentally responsible fleet without compromising performance or reliability.

A big thank you to everyone involved in getting these units on the road. Another investment that underlines our focus on efficiency, sustainability and quality vehicles for our operations.

Our brand-new 70th Platinum Anniversary Volvo FH540, paired with the mighty Palfinger PK65002-5H, drag trailer and showcasing the Palfinger Workman Basket, took pride of place on the MV Commercials stand – and what a show it was!

This truck is more than just a piece of kit – it’s a reflection of our heritage, and a statement of our future.

A huge thank you to MVCommercial for their incredible hospitality and for giving our flagship vehicle centre stage at one of the UK’s biggest truck shows.
