We have created an Instagram page that we would love for you guys to follow. On here we will update you on our travels, our work, our events and sponsorship in and around Wallingford.

We also thought it would be nice to use the platform for moving tips, including packing, storage and general advice on moving house. We know it can be diffcult so its great to be able to use our experience within the industry to help you all out.

This coming Sunday volunteers from Northern Exposure Rescue will be on the River Thames at Wallingford providing safety cover to the OX10 Community Centre with their Nothing New Raft Race.

The old Wallingford Raft Race was an annual event previously organised by the former Wallingford Lions Club which ran for decades and ceased back in 2007. This annual Wallingford event used to be a fund-raising opportunity to support local charities. It was a fun event for participants and spectators alike and many long time Wallingfordians remember it with nostalgia.

This year, OX10 Community Centre are going to pilot a one-off ‘Nothing New’ River Raft Race. A free to watch, family day out with a focus on enjoying and celebrating our beautiful stretch of the River Thames and to shine a spotlight on the new bathing water status application by environmental campaign group ‘Thames 21’.

It is open to anyone who can construct a raft capable of carrying its crew from the start to the finish line (150m downstream and back again).

Thank you to everyone that came to the Paul Simmonds Removals 50th Anniversary on Friday 28th. It really was a fantastic day & great to see so many of you there ☺️

We want to say a big thank you to the staff at Paul Simmonds for all their help setting up on the day!

Thank you for all the amazing donations from our local business in Wallingford to make the raffle a great success, and thank you to our lovely face painter Claire from Doodle Design Face Painting for all your great creations!

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone for all the raffle ticket purchases and generous donations for Sobell House.
