It was during my time as a Manager at Virgin Holidays that I realised I wanted to specialise in creating luxury, tailor-made travel experiences for my clients. I offer a dedicated and flexible service that works around your schedule, no matter how busy you are. The lovely Claire, a fellow Travel Counsellor, popped by to work with me in my office today, and I also had a fantastic visit from my friends at Premier Holidays. They even brought me a couple of bottles of w**e, how lucky am I 🍷
They have so many brilliant products, especially in the Channel Islands, Thailand, Canada, the USA and Australia, plus amazing options for F1 in Singapore, Qatar and Abu Dhabi 🏁

One more week until I head off on my own little UK adventure. Next Saturday I’ll be setting off with the dogs 🐾 to the Lake District, the Highlands and Loch Lomond for fresh air, long walks and lots of cosy stops along the way. I’m really looking forward to slowing down and recharging.
I’ll still have my laptop with me, but I’ll be working reduced hours. If you’re considering a break later this year or into next, now is the perfect time to get in touch. I usually see a spike in enquiries when I’m on holiday, so if you message me this week I’ll do my best to get everything confirmed for you before I go, so I can fully switch off and you can have a trip to look forward to too 🍃

Why use a travel agent? 🤔✈️🚢
This morning was the perfect reminder of why it makes such a difference to have someone in your corner when you travel.
I have a lovely stay-and-cruise booked for a client next year. An email dropped into my inbox to say their flight had been cancelled and the new option was departing 5 hours earlier. That meant it would no longer work with the ship docking time and there was no way to take an even earlier flight.
If they had booked it all themselves, that is the moment you usually think: “Oh no… I have all of this to sort out now.”
Instead, they carried on with their day, none the wiser of any changes. I contacted them gave them the situation and lined up three workable alternatives: option A, B or C. To which suited them best. They did not have to search new flights.
No stress, no sitting on hold, no trying to work out what connected with what. They were out at the time, so they simply went home, popped the kettle on ☕, and called me a couple of hours later to say: “Option C suits us best.”
When things change or go wrong, that is where having your own personal travel expert really comes in: I am here to fix the issues behind the scenes, save you time and hassle, and keep everything running smoothly so you can just look forward to your holiday.
