We are currently recruiting for the current positions

HGV Class 1 -Full time
HGV Class 1 -Part-time

Immediate start available. Family-run business.

Working Monday to Friday(full-time), or 2- shifts a week(part-time) - with a requirement for nights out and some flexibility, you will be undertaking ongoing tramping work with an established national haulier,

Information about the HGV Class 1 Tramper role:

Regular tramping work
No handball involved.
Sleeper cabs with fridge -new units
Overtime opportunities available
Based near on M25 close to M11
What we expect from our drivers

· Container experience or having a willingness and capacity to learn

· Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic

· Be punctual

· Smart appearance as you will be representing the company

· Commitment to an ongoing tramping role

· Drive and operate a Heavy Goods Vehicle class 1 with full compliance to transport legislation including the requirements of the 'operator's licence (i.e. tachographs, vehicle checks, driver hours) to safely deliver customers.

· Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery

· Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business

· Complete relevant documentation/tasks and provide a daily report to the supervisor.

· Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift
