The Cathodic protection reference electrode is used in conjunction with a Boat meter and is connected to the Negative (Black) terminal. The red terminal is connected to the Boat Hull via a 5 metre Cable and a crocodile clip to measure the potential of any Hull, drive, propeller or metal component in contact with the water.

The Cathodic protection reference electrode is to be used in conjuction with our Boat Meter to be able to measure Hull potential.
