Take the girls trip.

The one you keep talking about. The one that’s been sitting in the group chat for months. The one you all say you’ll get around to booking “one day”.

Pick the place, find the dates and make it happen.

Explore somewhere new, eat the local food, drink the w**e, laugh until your cheeks hurt and take far too many photos.

Because life gets busy and getting everyone together doesn’t always get easier. Those few days away from everyday life can become some of the memories you treasure most.

This was us in beautiful Dubrovnik, and it’s exactly why I’ll always say: go with your girls.

This one feels very personal to me.

Life gets busy. Work, commitments, diaries that never seem to match — and suddenly another year has disappeared.

But if there’s one thing I’ll always make time for, it’s making memories with my girls.

The holidays, the laughter, the silly moments, the conversations over dinner and, yes, stopping to take the photo. Because one day those photographs become little snapshots of a life you’re incredibly grateful you lived together.

So book the trip. Take the photo. Stay up too late. Laugh until your stomach hurts.

The best souvenirs really aren’t things. They’re the moments you bring home with you.

This is exactly why holidays matter.

Life gets busy. Work, family, commitments and all the everyday stuff can mean that proper time together gets pushed further and further down the list.

So when my clients tell me their holiday gave them exactly what they needed, time to switch off, enjoy each other’s company and make new memories together and that means everything.

A holiday isn’t always just about where you go. Sometimes it’s about what that time away gives you.

And I absolutely love being the person who helps make that happen.

Some places you visit because they’re beautiful. Others you visit because they’ve been part of your world for as long as you can remember.

Graceland was one of those places for me.

On our US trip in 2025, we made a point of visiting some of America’s iconic landmarks, and stepping through the doors of Elvis Presley’s home was definitely one of those pinch-me moments.

The house, the stories, the memorabilia, those incredible jumpsuits, whether you’re a lifelong Elvis fan or simply love music and its history, there’s something quite special about experiencing it all in the place where so much of his story happened.

And that’s one of the things I love most about travelling. It gives you the chance to turn places you’ve heard about, watched on television or had on your bucket list for years into your own memories.

So don’t just dream about the iconic places. Build them into the trip.

How many times do we say “one day…”?

One day I’ll go there.
One day I’ll do that.
One day I’ll tick that off my bucket list.

But sometimes you have to stop waiting for “one day” and actually make it happen.

For me, a sunrise hot-air balloon flight was one of those moments and there’s something pretty special about finally experiencing something you’ve imagined doing for years.

So whatever is sitting on your bucket list…

Dream about it. Plan it. Book it. Do it.

Because collecting memories will always mean more than collecting things.
