What began with just two drivers in April 2024 has grown into a team of more than 250 in little over two years, making Harrisons one of the fastest-growing independent taxi operators in the country.
That growth has been built around a simple idea: raise the standard of local taxi travel. Harrisons combines modern technology with experienced local teams, reliable service and a strong belief that customers should always feel like more than simply another fare.
They’ve also made supporting their communities a major part of the business, regularly backing local charities, schools, sports teams, events and good causes through sponsorship, fundraising, donations and transport.
One story in particular sums up their approach. When a passenger needed urgent hospital treatment and faced a potentially lengthy ambulance wait, Harrisons immediately sent a driver to get them to Kettering General Hospital, waived the fare and helped them safely inside. The family later told the team that reaching hospital when they did may have saved their life.
For Harrisons, this award belongs to the drivers, office teams, customers and communities who have backed the business from the beginning.
A huge congratulations to everyone at Harrisons Taxis, and thank you to everyone who voted for them.
