After much deliberation, I have decided to close the business down and move on to other things.
As a result we will no longer be accepting any more inquiries for work.

Rebated Featheredge cladding:
Larch - 50yr lifespan - £20/m2
Oak - 100yr lifespan - £42/m2
Cedar - 30yr lifespan - £50/m2
How does any of this make sense?
These price increases we're seeing across the industry are daft.

Random oak fact for the day: green oak contains large amounts of tannins, which leach out during the drying period. It also reacts with human sweat and goes black, so after a full day of handling the sawdust, your hands look like this! And this is after I washed them. They'll look like this for a couple of days.

Due to the current covid situation, which is now worse than it was in April 2020, and the resultant personnel issues, I have chosen to close the non-office side of the business down until such time as the vaccine situation catches up.
I also feel we all have a civic responsibility to stay at home if the work we do is not essential.
I will however still be taking new enquiries for future projects and processing existing ones, so feel free to drop us a line!
