Our adventure continued with some well-earned free time exploring the beautiful city of Caen before an afternoon packed with thrills at Festyland! ๐ŸŽข

Back at the accommodation, everyone relaxed with board games and enjoyed watching the ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ vs ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ท match together. โšฝ

The following day was one to remember as we visited the moving Normandy D-Day Omaha Beach Memorial, taking time to reflect on its incredible history. We then explored the breathtaking Mont Saint-Michel, with its stunning medieval streets and unforgettable views. ๐Ÿฐ

To round off another fantastic day, we made a quick stop at a hypermarket where students stocked up on plenty of sweets, snacks and sugary drinks before heading back to the accommodation.

An early start this morning as we set off for Dover before crossing the Channel and beginning our north-west France adventure! ๐ŸšŒ

Our first stop was the beautiful harbour town of Honfleur, where students had the chance to explore its picturesque streets, soak up the French culture, and enjoy the stunning scenery.

After arriving at our accommodation and settling in, we rounded off a fantastic first day by watching the ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท vs ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ match & board games.

Next, they enjoyed some free time in the beautiful town of Arras, taking in the sights, browsing the local shops, and soaking up the French atmosphere. ๐Ÿ›๏ธโ˜€๏ธ

The day concluded with a moving visit to the Thiepval Memorial, where students reflected on the sacrifices made during the First World War and paid their respects at one of the Sommeโ€™s most significant memorials ๐ŸŒน

After a well-earned dinner at New Regina Restaurant, the day ended with the moving Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate โ€“ a powerful tribute to those who always be remembered ๐ŸŒน

Huge credit to Dave for a navigating all the destinationโ€™s. With Daveโ€™s battlefield tour experience this makes the trips very free following without any hassle!
