🚛❄️ Look who’s taking centre stage at Cold Chain Live! 2026!

We’re incredibly proud to see one of our Chiltern trucks and trailers on display at the Telford International Centre for this year’s Cold Chain Live event!

Sporting the fantastic new Cold Chain Federation livery, our trailer is helping to promote and celebrate the UK’s temperature controlled logistics industry.

At Chiltern Distribution, we’re proud to support the Federation and the important work they do in championing our industry.

It’s great to play a small part in such a fantastic event, bringing together businesses and industry leaders who share our passion for excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.

From van driver to HGV driver 🚚

One of the things we’re really proud of at Chiltern is seeing members of our team develop and progress within the business.

One of our van drivers joined Chiltern with an ambition to eventually move into HGV driving. That journey is now well underway, with recent driver training receiving some really positive feedback and confidence continuing to grow.

The next step is studying for the HGV theory ahead of starting an apprenticeship in October, alongside proactively asking to complete our specialist Pharma and Aviation training.

And this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this journey at Chiltern. Several members of our driving team started with us in vans before progressing through their licences and eventually getting behind the wheel of an artic. Many of them are still part of the Chiltern team today.

For us, that’s what development is all about. Giving people an opportunity, supporting their ambition and helping them take that next step.

Sometimes a van isn’t just a van. It can be where a whole new career starts. 👏🚛

🥾 280KM. TWO COUNTRIES. ONE INCREDIBLE CHALLENGE. ❤️🐾

In just three days, our Transport Planner, Diana, will be swapping transport planning for walking boots as she sets off on an incredible challenge – walking 280km of the Camino de Santiago across Portugal and Spain!

What started as a personal goal to step outside her comfort zone, challenge herself and experience something completely new has now become something much bigger – **More Than Me**.

Diana is using her journey to raise money for Animals In Need Northamptonshire, a fantastic charity dedicated to rescuing and caring for sick, injured, trapped and distressed wild and domestic animals. 🐾

As a dog owner herself, it’s a cause particularly close to Diana’s heart, and she’s hoping that every kilometre walked can help make a difference to animals that can’t ask for help themselves.

280km is no small challenge, and everyone at Chiltern Distribution is incredibly proud to be supporting Diana as she takes it on! 💪

Bank Holiday Monday, but the wheels at Chiltern keep turning 🚛

I spent today back behind the wheel, helping to keep deliveries moving and getting another valuable view of the operation from our drivers’ perspective.

A big thank you to all our drivers, warehouse team, planners and everyone else working today. While many people are enjoying the Bank Holiday, our team continues working hard to look after our customers and maintain the service they depend on.

Proud to be part of a team that always steps up when needed.
