GOOD NEWS for customers who use Route 41.
After feedback from our last change, we will be making further changes to the early morning and evening timetable on all days of the week from Sunday 18th October.

Buses will also run one hour later into the evening on Mondays to Saturdays, to help people in our local communities travel around.

Due to forthcoming expansion of our network, we are currently looking for more drivers to come and join our team in Newmains, Lanarkshire.
If you don't already have a PCV licence, not a problem, we can train you!

Current rates of pay are £15 and £16 an hour, including performance bonus.

⚠️Service Delays - Motherwell area - 17:30 Tues 6th Oct ⚠️
Due to severe congestion in the Motherwell area, all our buses on Services 5, X5, 41 and 42 are currently experiencing delays.

We are working hard to try and get buses back on time, but please bear with us.

GOOD NEWS for Newarthill, Carfin and New Stevenston - from Sunday 18th October, we will be making improvements to your Service X5...

Buses will now operate up to every 30-minutes during the day on Mondays to Saturdays, and a new earlier morning and later evening journey will be introduced! We will also launch a NEW Sunday service on the route with buses running hourly during the day.

We would like to thank everyone in the local community who has helped support the new service since it launched back in January. We hope these timetable improvements will be welcomed and help to encourage even more people to use the bus.

Don't forget that you can travel to and from Glasgow for £2 each way, thanks to the Scottish Government fare cap.

The new timetable is shown below. Paper copies will be available from your regular X5 drivers soon.

GOOD NEWS for residents in Coatshill - from Monday 19th October - we will be trialling the re-introduction of Service 230, providing links to Hamilton Town Centre, and Palace Grounds Retail Park.
The service will operate on Mondays to Fridays, every 40-minutes from 9am until approx. 2pm.
We hope the new service will prove popular and we look forward to welcoming new customers on board once the service starts.

GOOD News for residents in the Aitken Road and Fenwick Drive areas of Silvertonhill... After representations from and subsequent discussions with local Cllr Gavin Keatt, from Monday 19th October we will trial introducing NEW service 230 which will provide links to Low Waters, Hamilton Town Centre, and Palace Grounds Retail Park.

The Service will operate every 40-minutes from 9am until approx. 2pm on Mondays to Fridays. We hope the new service will prove popular and look forward to welcoming new customers on board once the service starts.

⚠️ Service X1 - 16:25 departure from Buchanan Bus Station - Friday 2nd October⚠️

Unfortunately, due to a fault with the bus, the 16:25 bus from Glasgow will now start from Hamilton town centre at 16:53.

The 16:55 journey from Glasgow is being operated by our big double decker which should have enough seats for everyone.
We apologise for any inconvenience this vehicle failure will cause.

🔸️ Hands-on engineering role with leadership responsibility
🔸️ Oversee daily workshop ans depot operations
🔸️ Carry out repairs, maintenance and fault-finding
🔸️ Lead engineering staff & subcontractors
🔸️ Ensure safety, compliance & high-quality workmanship
🔸️ Carry out pre-MOT checks & quality checks to DVSA standards

A strong engineering background is essential and foreman/senior technician experience is desirable.

A competitive salary is on offer, depending on experience.
