⚠️Service 42 diversion - from 19:00, Friday 5th June - Larkhall⚠️
Due to an event taking place in Larkhall Town Centre, Service 42 will need to divert. From Ayr Road, buses will run via Burnhead Road, Burnside Place, Drygate Street, Hamilton Street and back on to route at Hamilton Road.
This diversion will be the same in both directions.
We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.

⚠️Service X1 Diversion - Annsfield Road - Tuesday 2nd June to Friday 5th June⚠️

Due to the closure of Annsfield Road for works, the X1 will divert via Neilsland Road, Neilsland Square, Millgate Road and Mill Road in both directions.
All bus stops on the diversion route will be observed.

⚠️Service 5 - diversion at Mossend - Saturday 30th May ⚠️
Due to Main Street being closed the 5 will be diverted as follows.
Towards Bellshill Clay Crescent: Normal route to Main Street, circle the roundabout outside ALDI, then back down to the end of Calder Road. Turn right onto Bellshill Road, then Motherwell Road up to John Street/ Bellshill Cross. Then normal route towards Keith Street and Hattonrigg Road.

Towards Motherwell Town Centre: Normal route to Hamilton Road, Bellshill Town Centre. Then turn left onto Crossgates and onto Motherwell Road/ Bellshill Road, turn left onto Calder Road. At the end of Calder Road, turn left onto Main Street, circle the roundabout outside ALDI then normal route towards Motherwell.

Unfortunately this means we will not be able to serve Morrisons Bellshill during this diversion. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

THESE ROADWORKS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED - THE X1 WILL OPERATE THE NORMAL ROUTE THIS WEEKEND.

⚠️Service X1 - diverson at Annsfield Road - Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th May⚠️

Due to the eastbound closure of Annsfield Road, buses going towards Glasgow will be diverted as follows:
Normal route around Swisscot Avenue, then Neilsland Road, Neilsland Square, Millgate Road, Mill Road then back on to normal route at Low Waters Road.

Buses towards Hillhouse will use the normal route.

We apologise for any inconvenience this diversion will cause.

⚠️Service X5 - diversion at Carfin - Friday 22nd May 2026⚠️
Due to a road closure from 9am, the X5 will divert from Glenmore Road via Loanhead Road, and the A723 to re-join the normal route at Carfin Street.
Note that the service will also run along to the roundabout at Glen Ord Road so that we can continue to serve the bus stops at New Stevenston Road.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the diversion.

⚠️Service 13 Diversion - Monday 18th May to Thursday 21st May & Tuesday 26th May to Friday 29th May - Chapelton⚠️

Due to a road closure, the 13 will need to split into two sections - one running from East Kilbride to Hamilton and the other from Stathhaven to Hamilton. In the evening, buses connect in Hamilton for anyone wishing to make a through journey.

From Monday 18th May 2026, we will be introducing new Monday to Friday peak time only Service 229. The route will provide new direct links from Eddlewood to Strathaven Road and Low Waters Road as well as serving the Town Centre.
