Our Sales Director, Chris Bentley and Content and Communications Executive, Lauren Eldershaw, are pictured proudly accepting our Regional Logistics Company of the Year award from Business Awards UK.

💚 Sometimes, it's the everyday things that make the biggest difference. 💚

Earlier this month, we shared our support for the The Peter Pan Centre for Children with Special Needs. Today, we're pleased to shine a light on another fantastic local charity, Trust Links - Community Mental Health - another donation made possible thanks to the generosity of our employees.

When we asked Trust Links - Community Mental Health how we could help, the answer was simple: practical items that would support their day-to-day work and the people who use their services.

Thanks to everyone's fundraising efforts, we've been able to donate a range of practical items, including an air fryer and microwave to support the charities kitchen facilities, as well as garden tools and gift vouchers to help maintain their outdoor spaces.

These may seem like everyday items, but they'll play an important role in helping Trust Links - Community Mental Health continue creating welcoming spaces where people can learn new skills, build confidence and connect with others.

Knowing that our fundraising is making a real difference in such a practical way makes every cake sale, raffle, and fundraiser worthwhile.

A huge thank you to every member of the Simarco team who has supported our fundraising throughout the year. Your generosity continues to help us give back to the communities we're proud to be part of. 💚

💚 Some of the partnerships we're most proud of happen outside of logistics.

For many years, we've been proud to support the
, helping a charity that makes a real difference to children and families across Staffordshire.

This week, we were delighted to welcome Claire Addis, Fundraising Manager at , to our Stoke-on-Trent site to officially receive our latest donation. To mark the occasion, she brought along a fantastic giant cheque – the perfect way to celebrate our support for such an incredible charity.

Our Simarco Stoke site is looking fresh and sparkling after a fantastic clean, even in the middle of the summer heatwave! 🥵🫧

Proud to support a weekend of horsepower, community, and charity! 🚛💙

A huge thank you to two of our HGV Drivers, James Smith and Stewart Lucas, who represented at the very first Gatehouse Truck Show on Mersea Island, Essex.

The event brought together more than 100 trucks, cars, bikes and vans to raise funds for a fantastic charity, which provides vital support for families caring for ill children.

With live entertainment, great food and drink, and plenty of family-friendly activities, it was a brilliant day that celebrated both the transport community and two incredibly worthwhile causes. 🎶

We're proud to have been part of such a fantastic event and hope to see the Gatehouse Truck Show return next year!

Earlier this week, our Commercial Operations Director, Mark Wraight and Felixstowe Operations Manager, Ben Purnell, had the pleasure of attending the Vitality Blast T20 fixture between Essex and Middlesex as guests of Woodland Group. Hosted in Woodland Group hospitality suite at the Essex Cricket County Ground, it was an excellent afternoon of cricket, great hospitality and even better company.

Events like these provide a valuable opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues, strengthen existing relationships and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the logistics sector.
