Urgent clarification regarding the take over of E Jones & Son

Further to our previous announcement, we would just like to clarify some details regarding the takeover of operations at E Jones & Son

As already stated ALL work and contracts currently being undertaken and any future bookings are secured and will continue as agreed and arranged with the existing staff and vehicles. There will be no change of livery or phone number and Mr Barry Jones is remaing to assist for the forseable future to ensure a smooth transition

Sorry for any incovenince or confusion caused by our previous annoucement and we hope to have added some clarity on the matter.

So it's not all beautiful scenery and beauty spots. Sometimes you have to get dirty and get them spanners 🔧 out. So here we have 2 of our mechanics prepping and steam cleaning our 70 seater for its MOT this afternoon. 🚍

Pleased to say it was another first time pass once again 😀

Oh and good to see Cameron happy in his job as he enjoys a good selfie 😂

A New Chapter 🤝

We’re pleased to announce that Pats Coaches, has taken over the operations of local coach company E Jones & Son of Rhosllanerchrugog as of 1st September 2026

We’re looking forward to building on the great work they’ve done and welcoming their customers and staff to the Pats Coaches family.

Most importantly, all work currently booked with E Jones & Son will remain in place and go ahead as planned, so it’s business as usual for customers.

We currently have two roles available:

🌍 TOUR DRIVER

We are looking for an experienced Tour Driver, with the potential for an immediate start for the right candidate.

Applicants must have previous tour experience and a good working knowledge of driving throughout both the UK and Europe. You will be carrying out work on behalf of our corporate clients and the holiday companies we work with.

The successful candidate will be allocated their own coach for the season and will be expected to keep the vehicle clean, tidy and presented to a high professional standard.

🏫 LOCAL DRIVER

The Local Driver role will include a variety of work such as:

• School contracts and trips
• Private hire
• Rail replacement services
• Yard duties
• Other local driving work as required

All applicants must be:

We've been a little quiet on our social media recently... but that's only because we've been so busy doing what we do best! 🚌💨

Even throughout the summer holidays, our team has been working hard to keep people on the move. From Wrexham 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 to London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and even touring around Europe 🇪🇺, it's shaping up to be a busy few weeks 🗓
