Busy busy busy as always at Wymondham abbey station this week but with 2 events in one week we are busier than ever.

First of all tomorrow afternoon/evening the inspiration train arrives to go to Dereham for the 19th and 20th Green timetable (20th only) running also incase you can't make it to the Wymondham event on the Thursday (which only has a few spaces remaining also).

Then it returns to Wymondham for Thursday 21st of May last few spaces remaining before departing to the Severn valley railway for the weekend.

If that's not all did someone say there is a diesel gala on this weekend coming up more details on that.

Last few tickets available for the inspiration train at Wymondham Abbey on the 21st of May so if your struggling to get tickets for Wymondham Abbey the Mid Norfolk Railway is running trains to Dereham 2days of the train being there from Wymondham with the green timetable on the 20th and the timetable for the 19th yet to be announced.

It was good to see 80078 return to the mid Norfolk Railway yesterday for the first time since September and facing Wymondham also. The locomotive is normally based at the MNR during the summer but goes away for visits to other railways galas and winter maintenance. If you miss it while it is here briefly it is on the West Somerset railway for their gala at the end of May.

As we set up you may see some trains around the area whilst we are training volunteers and other works trains also.
