Happy International Women’s Day!
This seems like the right time to post about an important part of our journey.... When we started this business, I was never meant to be the driver.
The plan was simple — I’d handle the admin, and Lee, my husband and business partner, would take care of the driving.
Together, we would build a family business rooted in the values that matter most to us: trust, care and exceptional service.
But as the bookings grew, so did the reality that Lee couldn’t
— and shouldn’t — do it all alone.
So I stepped outside my comfort zone and went through the full process of obtaining my Private Hire licence with the council.
What I didn’t expect?
I absolutely love being behind the wheel.
Offering a female chauffeur may not matter to everyone. But for some clients — particularly women travelling alone, young passengers, or families — it makes a genuine difference. It provides reassurance, comfort and choice.
And that’s exactly why we started this business in the first place — to deliver the level of service and luxury we would expect for our own family and loved ones.
We’re incredibly proud to offer that choice to our clients, while continuing to grow a business built on family values and high standards.
