Cycle Heaven is looking for a supervisor for our workshop at York railway station. Responsibilities in this key-holding role include overseeing the smooth running of the workshop operation, the hands-on repair and maintenance of customer's cycles and the retail and merchandising of parts and accessories.
Cycle Heaven is a large, well established independent cycle retailer operating from three sites, based in the beautiful cycle-friendly city of York. We are very excited about the future of cycling and our business. A successful tenure in this role could open up the way for advancement within the company.

To be a successful candidate you will need to have:
Strong face-to-face people skills in order to explain our technical work to non-technical customers, as well as the ability to handle any difficult customer service issues that might arise. Experience in customer facing environments would be useful.
Good sales skills, it goes without saying!
Solid organisational skills, confident with systems and formal processes, with a methodical mindset and an eye for detail. A key responsibility is managing the workshop schedule to ensure timely service delivery to a high standard and maximum productivity. This is supervisory role with significant developmental opportunities.
Solid experience as a cycle technician, proficient in working on a diverse range of cycles and modern cycle technology.
