Ghana Immigration Service is issuing Visa on arrival to all travellers to Ghana this festive season. Passengers travelling to Ghana this Christmas can just pick up their passports and tickets and fly.

Visas would be issued on arrival, without the requirement for prior approval. This arrangement is effective from 22 December, 2022 to 15 January, 2023.

Ghana 🇬🇭, Botswana and Egypt have been announced as Africa’s top destinations in 2023

Ghana has been announced as one of the top destinations to visit in 2023. In the announcement by National Geographic, Ghana is featured in the category 'Community' which was introduced in this year's list, replacing “sustainability” with a broader “community” category highlighting how conservation benefits everyone.

Ghana is thus being recognised as “an important destination for Black heritage travellers in West Africa”. National Geographic is therefore urging travellers to “head to Ghana to explore Black heritage and hang out with a fashion-forward crowd in the capital, Accra.”

Apart from Ghana, Egypt 🇪🇬 and Botswana 🇧🇼 were appeared on the 2023 list in the "culture" and “nature” categories respectively.
