Strengthening Collaboration for Ghana’s Agriculture- Ashanti region

Yesterday, Miqdadi Limited had the privilege of engaging with Directors and District Officers from the Ministry of Agriculture in a constructive technical session focused on agricultural inputs, field realities, and regional outlook.

The discussion emphasized the importance of alignment between the private sector and public institutions to ensure responsible input distribution, improved productivity, and sustainable agricultural development.

Opens New Selling Point in
(Adum)
On Friday, January 30, 2026, Ghana officially opened a new selling point in Adum, near Cocoa House, Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region. The opening marks an important milestone in
strengthening ’s presence and service reach within one of Ghana’s key agricultural regions.
The event was attended by , Managing Director of Agrimatco Ghana, alongside members of the Sales Management Team and the Technical and Administrative teams.
The opening also welcomed key stakeholders, including , Regional Director of the Ministry of
Food and Agriculture ( ) for the Ashanti Region; technical directors from MoFA Ashanti Region and , as well as local agro-input dealers; and farmers from Ashanti and surrounding districts.
The new selling point aims to bring high-quality seeds, fertilizers, crop protection products, and technical support closer to farmers and agro-dealers in the region. During the event, emphasis was placed on ’s long-standing experience in serving farmers across generations and its continued commitment to sustainable agriculture and improved farmer productivity.
The opening was marked by strong engagement and positive interaction with farmers and partners, highlighting the importance of reliable supply, technical guidance, and long-term partnerships. The new outlet is expected to play a key role in improving access to agricultural inputs and advisory services, contributing to the development of agriculture in the Ashanti Region.

“Last Friday, we hosted a special field day at HO-Volta region to introduce two fantastic watermelon varieties: from the Sugar Baby family and from the Crimson Sweet line.

Both delivered outstanding size, excellent disease resistance, and strong tolerance to tough conditions. We had a fantastic turnout, and the yields were impressive, over 16 kg for and over 10 kg for Afnan_F1.

Thanks to our strong partnership with seeds and agrochemicals, During the event we introduced farmers to Eforia insecticide and Ortiva fungicide as part of our solutions to control pests and for better crop protection.
