The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC), together with its members, staff, and the Board, extends our deepest condolences to the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, the NATIONAL PETROLEUM AUTHORITY (NPA), the bereaved family, colleagues, and friends of the late Dramani Bukari (Ph.D.) on his passing.

We are deeply saddened by this great loss and stand in solidarity with all who mourn him. His contributions, service, and impact will be remembered and cherished.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and grant him eternal peace and mercy.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) proudly celebrates our member, Henos Energy ,on the commissioning of Ghanaโ€™s first Drive-Thru LPG Cylinder Distribution Outlet at East Legon Hills, Accra.

Operating under the ๐‚๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ž๐œ๐ข๐ซ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Œ๐จ๐๐ž๐ฅ (๐‚๐‘๐Œ), the innovative outlet offers customers a convenient and efficient way to exchange empty LPG cylinders for pre-filled cylinders through a drive-thru system, without on-site filling.

Beyond convenience, the initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing safety, efficiency and accessibility within Ghanaโ€™s LPG distribution landscape. It is particularly encouraging to see a COMAC member translating innovation into practical solutions that contribute to the continued development of Ghanaโ€™s downstream petroleum industry.

On August 10, 2026, a delegation led by Nana Ansah Sasraku III ,chairman of the Board of Trustees of the KNUST Alumni Endowment Fund (KAEF), paid a courtesy visit to the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC).

Ex-pump price projection:

Petrol, diesel and LPG ex-pump prices are projected of a consecutive increase by 4.89%โ€“7.58%, 5.64%โ€“12.50% and
3.44%- 4.13% respectively.

The increases are driven by the escalating US-Iran conflict, higher international crude and refined product prices, and market concerns over supply disruptions, rising freight costs and shipping security
through the Strait of Hormuz.
