Happy 69th Ghana Independence Day 🇬🇭

Today we celebrate the freedom, strength, and spirit of Ghana. On March 6, 1957, under the leadership of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana became the first sub-Saharan African nation to gain independence from colonial rule. At midnight that historic night, Nkrumah declared, “Ghana, your beloved country, is free forever.”

Ghana’s independence sparked a wave of liberation across the African continent and became a powerful symbol of Pan-African pride, unity, and self-determination.

Happy Independence Day Ghana. 🇬🇭
