If you have followed me, you would remember Sted Kuwornoo, the mum who put her career on hold to personally home school her 4 very intelligent children. Through our PlugOut retreat last year, she leveraged on her capacity and got a side gig as an assistant to the Co-founder of , .sackitey. Just when we rounded up our celebration of this testimony, something even bigger was announced 💃 💃, She got a contract to launch, develop, facilitate one of the courses and run the first Neville Farms school programme....yaaayyy!!

This picture below is the reality of most women in recent times.

We want to see our children grow. We want to attend their school performances and graduation ceremonies, bond with them and cheer them on as they achieve laurels. We want to give them all the parental social support we didn't have growing up....BUT AT THE SAME TIME, WE WANT TO KEEP OUR PROFESSIONS, JOBS, WORK, ECONOMIC LIVES TOO!! (O whatever you can call it is fine!)

In Ghana and most parts of the world, high performing women are made to choose between being a GENERATION SHAPER aka STAY AT HOME MUM and a high achieving corporate woman. All because it is said that "It is a man's world". We focus on competeting with men for roles and are forced to dance to tunes played according to those roles rather than the acceptance of BEING DIFFERENT in our space. You know the rippling effect?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The intentional or unintentional neglect of the home and it's resultant impact on the generations in our care.....That's our future workforce going awry in a matter of time.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 If a woman chooses to be a stay at home mum, if means her entire professional journey is either on hold or truncated.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Domestic violence may be her reality over time if she's unfortunately unable to helped to contribute economically somehow at home.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Low self-esteem. Don't laugh at all, because all this negative energy gets transferred to the generations and the spouse and this invites many unnecessary vices.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The list is unending

The journey for Lavitesse www.lavitesseghana.com and Neville Farms Ghana after our maiden edition themed PlugOut - Stay at home mums edition 2025 began a few days after the retreat.

The birth of this vision to build, support and transform stay at home mothers, actually goes beyond what meets the eye. It's honed and forged daily by my Senior Partner, THE HOLY SPIRIT himself. Back to telling you about our journey with our participants after the PlugOut 2025 retreat...lol.

❤️ We encouraged E. Duodu to attend last year's Vision Board Conference, organised by Lift-up Network with her older children. The idea was to build confidence through hearing stories from key speakers like . Eben Mensah-Attipoe, Q. Boateng, Darko-Opoku and others, exposure amidst strategic networking and intentional generational shaping of mindsets and belief systems of her children.

It is humbling to see and hear from our participants, the impact these engagements have on their personalities.

❤️ 2026 started with rippling bangs! We have had our first virtual capacity building session on GOAL SETTING, aptly delivered by Co-founder of Neville Farms GH , Sackitey-Ahiadorme . I recommend this training for all institutions from to groups to etc. This session took us deep into carving our blueprint 5-year goals and steps to be taken to get there.

❤️ On the front, we were part of a webnar organised by Walubengo on how women can be Whole and powerfully navigate male-dominated environments. That session was really pristine.

❤️ We have intentionally supported some of our mothers to start their and given them the pathways to work on the sustainability of it.

❤️ Each day, the sisterhood is fostered as we keep reminding ourselves that whenever we feel overwhelmed, we should first call to mind of being a Generation Shaper vis à vis the importance of being in sync with God and themselves. This simple act alone puts us in alignment.

❤️ Daily selected articles and podcast snippets on positive subjects are posted on our group platform to drive interests, resilience, emotional intelligence, personal development and other subject areas of

❤️ of books are encouraged for our mothers to build their brain sells and communication skills.

❤️ Mothers are encouraged to work on their goals daily, even if it's just 10 mins. It seems small, but for us, it's a big deal.

In fact, no one is allowed to wallow in regrets, negative emotions or staleness...it's a progressive movement that heals, transforms, builds and gets passed down to the generations in our care, born of us or not.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

This year's International Women's Day should spark a conversation around the importance of society having a WHOLE WOMAN and the power she wields as Generation Shaper rather than the usual glossy touches always posited, in my opinion.

A whole woman, in my opinion accepts and understands that she's on a journey of growth and self awareness, not perfection. This means that she must be about doing the painful inner work to be;

🤵‍♀ True to herself regarding who she is, what she wants, where she is, how to get there and the current steps she's taking to get there.

🤵‍♀ Healed. A healed woman focuses on building themselves and others and driving positive mindsets and Belief Systems that transform and the in totality. Really, some things never align until

🤵‍♀ Unapologetic about who she is and what she stands for. There will always be critics, landmine layers, jealous, pull her downers in any arena, however, being , not arrogant while being and gracious in speech and actions always get noticed by Kings and Queens.

🤵‍♀ Competent and versatile as a woman gets her leverage any day. It's more of the small progressive steps that ramps up her authority in her field.

🤵‍♀ Aware of her worth. This knowledge goes hand in hand with the forces of and . The ability to respectfully walk away from anything that vexes her spirit, stirs her waters negatively and undermines her self worth is important.

🤵‍♀ Communicative. Powerful communication boosts competence. She must be willing to learn, unlearn and relearn the skill of clarity in communication. Knowing yourself, your boundaries, your needs, and your worth and knowing how to effectively communicate, is the ultimate relationship superpower, check out the book of ESTHER.

Tears are good, but they only clean your eyes and remove the tightness in your throat.
