This is a short video showing the Nautilus Underwater electrode performing a series of fillet welds in all wet positions.

Nautilus has been pass with "flying colors" the AWS D3.6M:2017 Class A Welds and the rules & standards of the major clasification societies. More information about this will follow.

WeldCraft-Pro training course (the only accredited Underwater Welding program!) has come to its end at Marex Subsea Welds Ltd;
WP716 Class has been completed today.

Mr. DIPLOCK, Rhys (UK), Mr. WRIGHT, John (UK) and Mr. VAES, Peter (Belgium) passed successfully the visual inspection in accordance with the AWS D3.6M:2017 Class B Welds welding standard.

All underwater welding commenced in accordance with an approved MSSW Welding Procedure in presence of DNV's Principal Surveyor.

Test pieces on its way to the Test House.
Since 1970 GATS Ltd has been solely occupied with the inspection of materials, trials, measurements and the supervision of technical work (mechanical engineering) with a view to improving the quality of the work.

Marex Subsea Welds Ltd has been participated at the exhibition of SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN which conducted at MESSE-ESSEN exhibition center in Essen of Germany.

It is the biggest exhibition in Germany related to the WELDING & CUTTING.
We are thrilled, as it was the first time that this specific exhibition has facilitated the UNDERWATER WELDING and gave us the chance to show to the public what we love most to do!

Together, with all the other related to the Underwater Technology exhibitors, we educated all the visitors that have been interested for the latest developments of the Underwater Welding.

At Marex, we had the opportunity to inform all the interested parties that visited our booth, about the latest services and products / consumables we can provide and supply accordingly.

As Marex, we had an additional reason to celebrate!
After a long period of almost 19 months and lots of efforts, welding and testing, we received the WELDING WORKSHOP APPROVAL CERTIFICATE issued by DNV.

I would like to thank all the Welding Team, Engineers and Staff of Marex, the Engineers of DNV NORWAY and HELLAS (Piraeus Station) as well as the Management and the Engineers of Gats Ltd (Test House). It was a Team effort, well done to all!

We thank the Head of Material Department of NORWAY and GERMANY who they award us the Certificate during the exhibition, we are really honored.
We will do our best to develop the Coded Wet Welding at its best!

During the exhibition, we made a lot of Friends but we met the old ones too. We look forward guys to see you all at the next exhibition.

Mr. MEIRSSCHAERT, Enrico (Belgium) and Mr. BERROA, Rolando (Panama) passed successfully the visual inspection in accordance with the AWS D3.6M:2017 Class B Welds welding standard.

All underwater welding commenced in accordance with an approved MSSW Welding Procedure in presence of DNV's Principal Surveyor.

A tailor-made Re-Certification training course has come to its end at Marex Subsea Welds Ltd;

MSSW-TD-15122022 has been completed.

It was a pleasure to have Svi RENDLER in our premises.
Svi, is an experienced Sat Welder-Diver and he completed successfully the re-certification course for PG (3G) and PD (4F) welding positions in accordance with the AWS D3.6M:2017, Class B Welds.

All tests have been witnessed by the DNV's Piraeus Office.

All underwater welding commenced in accordance with an approved MSSW Welding Procedure.

Test piece will follow its way to the Test House shortly.
