We spent a long day on the trails yesterday, running and hiking through trails 11a, 12, 2, 1, 9b, 9 and 11a again, from Batsi to Chora and back. Plenty of water springs along the way and enough wonderful views to last till next time...

A different side of the Cyclades. 🥾🌿

​We spent the day hiking Andros Route 14, tracking from the port of Gavrio up into the wild northern mountains. The absolute crown jewel of this trek is dropping into the Frousei Valley.

​Hidden in this lush ravine are the ruins of an entire 19th-century watermill village (Mylochori). Walking past the old stone houses, overgrown irrigation channels, and listening to the sound of running water feels like discovering a lost civilization.

​If you think that apart from the seaside Greek islands are mostly dry rocks and dirt, northern Andros will completely change your perspective 🌳
