Autumn in Papigo feels like stepping into another world. 🍂

Tucked into the mountains of Epirus in northwestern Greece, this beautiful Zagorochori village is surrounded by stone houses, winding cobbled lanes and a landscape that transforms into a tapestry of warm autumn colors.

Here, the season invites you to slow down, wander without a plan, and appreciate the kind of beauty that doesn’t need to announce itself. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, another little corner makes you stop and look again.

Papigo is a reminder that Greece has a different kind of magic beyond its islands and blue seas one best discovered on foot, in the quieter months of the year.

Would you visit Greece for an autumn escape in the mountains? 🍁

Save this for your next Greek getaway, and share it with someone who would love to discover this side of Greece. 💛

Summer doesn’t always end with a sunset. Sometimes, it ends with a cooler breeze slipping through an open door, white sheets dancing in the wind, and the blue dome of a little church quietly watching over Serifos.

The days grow shorter, the air turns crisp, and the island begins to slow down. The beach towels disappear, the streets grow quieter, and the windows stay open just long enough to let the last whispers of summer in.

And somehow, this is when you realise that Greece has a beauty of its own beyond summer a quieter, softer kind that makes you want to stay a little longer.

Would you stay in Serifos for this kind of autumn, too? 💙

Somewhere in the winding streets of Naxos Town, behind old stone walls and surrounded by greenery, you’ll find a courtyard that feels made for long Greek evenings. 🇬🇷

Welcome to Doukato where the charm of an old Naxian setting meets the simple pleasure of a good meal shared around the table.

Think leafy surroundings, rustic stonework, warm lights as the evening settles in, and the gentle buzz of conversations drifting between tables. Add generous plates of traditional Greek food, beautifully grilled lamb chops, souvlaki, seafood, and local Naxian flavours, and you have all the ingredients for a memorable evening.

Come with an appetite, order a few dishes to share, and take your time. Some places are best enjoyed without watching the clock and this is one of them. ❤️

Imagine opening your curtains in October and realising summer is still waiting for you. 🌊💙

The sea is right there. Just a few steps away. So you make a coffee, walk outside, slip into that impossibly blue water… and suddenly, the rest of the world can wait.

Hours pass. You swim, float, soak up the sun. Getting out? That can wait a little longer, too.

Somewhere in Greece, this is what an October morning looks like. No summer crowds, no rush, no need to be anywhere else. Just you, the sea, and the kind of day you wish would never end.

Summer isn’t done with Greece yet. And neither would we be. 🇬🇷☀️

Tag someone who would need serious convincing to get out of that water.

Save this for the October escape you didn’t know you needed. 💙

Maybe this is the Paros we love the most. ☁️

October arrives quietly. The summer crowds have disappeared, the skies turn softer and the narrow streets of the island’s villages slow down to a different rhythm.

You see locals going about their everyday lives, stopping for a coffee, chatting outside their homes, or simply enjoying another peaceful afternoon on the island.

There is nothing to rush for. No crowded beaches, no busy streets just the sound of everyday life, the occasional passing cat, and the calm that comes when Paros belongs mostly to its people again.

And if you’re lucky, the October sun may even warm the sea enough for a swim. 🌊

Perhaps that’s the beauty of Paros in October: you don’t come here to chase the season. You come to experience the island as it really is. 🤍
