Lucy and Sally were born at the end of July and will be ready to travel to Germany at the end of October. They currently live in Crete. If needed, I can help arrange the transport.
Mom and Dad can be seen in the video. Lucy is one of the smaller pups in the litter and will likely take after her mother, reaching around 39 cm in height. The father is 55 cm tall and a Cretan Hound (Kritikos Lagonikos)—a very people-oriented and calm breed. Sally is one of the larger pups in the litter and will probably take more after her father.
Lucy and Sally are growing up with their three siblings; they are bright, easygoing, and very affectionate. The puppies will come vaccinated and microchipped. They are being raised on a farm with plenty of human contact, so they will already have gained lots of experiences and be well-accustomed to everyday noises.
Lucy and Sally are looking for five-star homes! The adoption fee is €250 to cover rearing costs, plus transport costs to Germany if applicable.

Unusual encounter at Tripiti Beach today... 🦅🌊

Swipe to see this majestic Griffon Vulture (*Gyps fulvus*) who landed in the water and had to swim to shore to dry off.
It’s a heartbreaking sight, but unfortunately, it happens quite often on Crete during the hot summer months. Here is why:

☀️ Heat & Dehydration:
Young vultures fledging in early summer often get exhausted and severely dehydrated while searching for food and water in extreme heat.
🌬️ Drowning Risk:
When flying over the sea, strong winds or sheer exhaustion can force them down into the water. If they don't reach the beach, many unfortunately drown.

🚨 How you can help if you find a stranded vulture:

🛑 Keep your distance:
Do not overcrowd or scare the bs already under massive stress.

💧 Offer water:
Gently place a shallow bowl of fresh water nearby (do not force-feed or pour water directly into its beak)
