THE FIRST CHAMPIONS

Every Odyssey has its champions. And the first will always hold a special place in our story.

From the overall podium finishers to our age-category champions, these runners showed determination, resilience and a spirit worthy of the Odyssey.

Congratulations to our overall top three, our Men's 60+ and 70+ champions, and our Women's 60+ champion. Each has earned their place in the story of our inaugural edition.

The first chapter is written. Who will make their mark on the next?

Some journeys are measured in kilometres. Others are measured in the memories they leave behind.

When we created Mythical Odyssey, we had a dream.

We wanted to bring people from different corners of the world to Greece. To share with them the landscapes, history and beauty of a country we love. To challenge them on its trails, but also to give them something beyond running.

What we could never have imagined was just how much they would give us in return.

In September 2026, our very first Odysseans arrived in Greece. Some knew each other. Many were strangers. But over nine unforgettable days, something extraordinary happened.

They ran together. They struggled together. They laughed, encouraged one another, shared stories around dinner tables, and celebrated each other's achievements.

And somewhere along the way, a group of runners became a family.

Today, we are incredibly proud and emotional to share 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦.

46 minutes and 33 seconds of breathtaking landscapes, unforgettable moments, laughter, tears, determination and friendship.

To our dear Odysseans of 2026:

You placed your trust in us before Mythical Odyssey had even begun its first journey. And through your warmth, your spirit and your friendship, you helped turn that dream into something more beautiful than we could ever have imagined.

We are incredibly excited to introduce the next chapter of Mythical Odyssey:

From the mountain villages and ancient trails of Arcadia to the wild gorges, waterfalls and turquoise waters of Messenia, Echoes of Arcadia is a journey through one of the most beautiful and historic landscapes of Greece.

Run through the Menalon Trail and Lousios Gorge. Pass ancient monasteries hidden beneath towering cliffs. Stand before the Temple of Apollo Epicurius. Follow the waters of Neda and Polylimnio.

And on the final day, run all the way down the sand dunes to the extraordinary curve of Voidokilia Beach — where your Odyssey ends at the sea.

This is more than a stage race.
It is 10 days in Greece.
Six unforgettable stages.

Ancient history, mountains, villages, food, friendship and adventure.

By Stage 5, we were no longer strangers.

There was Pelion. Portaria. Mountain trails and ancient paths. One final morning on the start line. The descent towards the Aegean. Makrinitsa. Damouchari. And, at last, the sea.

Tired legs, louder laughter, more hugs — and the bittersweet feeling that our Odyssey was coming to an end.

Six stages. One extraordinary journey. And somewhere between Meteora, Olympus and the shores of Pelion, friendships were made that travelled far beyond the finish line.

Looking back through these photographs, it is difficult to believe how quickly it all passed. ❤️
