Piraeus Container Terminal successfully handled one of the first major Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) shipments of this scale in hashtag , with 52 battery units delivered from a single feeder vessel to multiple consignees.🔋
Following successful trial shipments, the was significantly expanded, requiring detailed planning and close coordination across PCT Operations and external partners. A dedicated delivery plan and coordination of 52 trucks ensured the safe, efficient and uninterrupted flow of , with minimal yard and no disruption to normal operations.
