We did the necessary maintenance on the sails of these ex-Volvo 60's yachts. We picked up the sails from the to bring them to our workshop.

After spending the last several years in the Middle East, these two ex-Volvo60's - previously named Assa Abloy and Newscorp - are returning to Europe.

Willem Jan Landman is sailing with a group of sailors on two Volvo 60s from Jeddah to Delfzijl. Together with Pindar Sailing, they want to equip the boats and use them to diversify sailing. In a series of stories, he recounts the journey across the Red Sea, the Suez Canal, and the Mediterranean. Read his blog on Zeilhelden.nl

They came via the Red Sea from Jeddah, through Suez Canal arriving in RHODOS for sail maintenance and more..

After Rhodes they followed their journey towards Malta.
