🚨🇬🇷 GREECE: FERRY SERVICES DISRUPTED BY GALE-FORCE WINDS REACHING 10 BEAUFORT 🌊⛴️

Severe weather is causing major disruptions to ferry services across Greece, particularly on routes connecting Athens with the Aegean islands.
🌬️ According to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY), winds are reaching 9 to 10 Beaufort, creating dangerous conditions for maritime travel.
⛴️ Current situation at the main ports:
🔴 Piraeus: Ferry departures have been suspended until 3:00 p.m.
🔴 Lavrio: Departures remain suspended due to the strong winds.
🟠 Rafina: Several ferry routes have been modified or delayed.
⚠️ In the Saronic Gulf, only some conventional ferries are operating, while high-speed vessels remain out of service.
🚢 One exception was the Blue Star Delos, which departed Piraeus at 7:20 a.m. for Paros, Naxos, Santorini, and Ios.
❌ Ferry services on the Agia Marina–Nea Styra and Arkitsa–Edipsos routes have also been suspended.
