The changes, which are subject to parliamentary approval, are due to come into force from 8th April!

Standard Online applications
• Adult: £94.50 to £102
• Child: £61.50 to £66.50

Standard Postal applications
• Adult: £107 to £115.50
• Child: £74 to £80

Premium (same-day service)
• Adult: £222 to £239

This is worth knowing if you’re due to renew your passport soon. It might be wise to get it done before the increase but also be aware that the process time may be a little longer with a surge of people arranging new passports prior to the new fees.
