The sea is finally warming up, but the busy summer crowds still haven't arrived. ☀️🌊

Right now is one of our favourite times of the season. The water is warm enough for swimming, the beaches are still quiet and places like Golden Beach and Plavnik can be enjoyed at a much more relaxed pace.

For many people, this is actually the best part of summer on Krk.

The season is just starting and even though the sea is still fresh, people are already swimming. ☀️

This is also the part of the season when places like Golden Beach and the Blue Cave on Plavnik are still without big crowds.

Honestly, probably the best time for people who just want to enjoy the sea and avoid packed summer beaches.

After six months, these seagulls—or as we like to call them in Croatia, 'flying rats'—are finally back to getting regular meals. Right now, because it's still pre-season and there aren't many tour boats around, they only get fed occasionally. But soon, they will be getting breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert.

For 10 years, Patricia and I were on opposite sides of the pier, fighting for every guest. She was the toughest rival I ever had. A year ago, we finally joined the same team, and honestly, it’s much better having Patricia on my side. This season, we’ve decided to team up and finally build her presence here on social media.
