One of those calm, early autumn hikes - easy trail, small crew, but still full of charm. The day started off a bit gloomy, but the trail was peaceful and well-marked, leading us gently to the quiet beauty of Gorsko Zrcalo.
No rain, and later even a hint of sunshine as we climbed above the treetops for some lovely eastern Zagreb views.

First spring hike of the year!
We enjoyed a delightful 5,5km hike to the Glavica mountain lodge under beautiful weather. The trail was easy and perfect for a relaxing adventure. Upon reaching the lodge, we treated ourselves to some refreshing drinks and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly local cats that added a charming touch to our day.

On this occasion, we took a shortcut by using the bus to reach the top of the hill.
Nevertheless, our adventure continued with a challenging 7,5km hike through rugged terrain after thoroughly exploring the abandoned Brestovac Sanatorium.
As we hiked, the weather kept switching between sunny and cloudy, but luckily, no rain messed with our plans. The cloudy skies just added to the spooky atmosphere of the abandoned sanatorium!

From a muddy adventure to a sun-soaked delight!
Our trip to Kameni Svati was supposed to be one of the easy ones, however the morning rain changed our trail into a muddy hell.
Despite the difficulties with the terrain, our short trip wrapped up under beautiful blue skies and we all soaked in the breathtaking views from the Kameni Svati Mountain lodge.

One of the easier hikes we’ve taken, no less exciting than the other ones though.
This time, the weather was really in our favour, as we enjoyed sunny skies throughout our entire trip!
All the way to Gorsko Zrcalo, we followed nicely marked trail from MarkuΕ‘evecka Trnava, afterwards hiked up the hills to get beautiful views of the eastern part of Zagreb.
