Új rekord született, egy hónap alatt kétmillió utas fordult meg a repülőtéren 📈✈️
Mozgalmasan folytatódott a nyári szezon, júliusban összesen 2 141 350 utas választotta utazása kiinduló vagy érkezési helyeként a fővárosi repülőteret, ami tavalyhoz képest 16,9%-os növekedést jelent. A július ezzel rekordot jelentő hónap a Liszt Ferenc Nemzetközi Repülőtér történetében, hiszen először lépte túl az egyhavi utasszám a kétmillió főt. 🎉
A hetedik hónapban változást történt a legnépszerűbb desztinációk listáján: a dobogós helyeket Tel-Aviv, Frankfurt és a magyar utazók kedvelt nyári úti célja, Antalya foglalta el. 🌍📍
Jól teljesített a cargo szektor júliusban
Idén júliusban új uniós szabályozás lépett hatályba az Európai Unión kívülről érkező, magánszemélyek által vásárolt e-kereskedelmi áruk behozatalára vonatkozóan. A Budapest Airport az uniós vámteher bevezetést megelőző két hónapban, májusban és júniusban minden idők legerősebb havi cargo volumenét kezelte; az új szabályozás pedig a júliusi forgalmi eredmények tükrében csak minimálisan érinti a repülőtér cargo forgalmát; a légikikötő 31 822 tonna árut kezelt. A vállalat célja, hogy a repülőtér régiós vezető pozícióját megtartsa, a hosszútávú, stabil partnerségekre és diverzifikált növekedésre helyezve a fókuszt.

New record: Two million passengers passed through the airport in a single month 📈✈️
The summer season continued at a brisk pace; a total of 2,141,350 passengers chose Budapest Airport as their point of departure or arrival in July, representing a 16.9% increase compared to last year. This makes July a record-breaking month in the history of Ferenc Liszt International Airport, as monthly passenger numbers exceeded two million for the first time ever. 🎉
There was a change in the list of the most popular destinations in July: the top three spots were taken by Tel Aviv, Frankfurt and Antalya, a favorite summer destination for Hungarian travelers. 🌍📍
The cargo sector performed well in July
New EU regulations came into effect this July regarding the import of e-commerce goods purchased by private individuals from outside the European Union. In May and June—the two months preceding the introduction of EU customs duties—Budapest Airport handled its highest-ever monthly cargo volume; and, judging by July’s traffic results, the new regulations have had only a minimal impact on the airport’s cargo traffic, as the airport handled 31,822 metric tons of cargo. The company’s goal is to maintain the airport’s leading position in the region, focusing on long-term, stable partnerships and diversified growth.
