Starlink’s Fastest Internet in the Sky Is Coming to EL AL.

EL AL is signing an agreement with Starlink to deploy advanced internet service on its aircraft, delivering a fast, stable and uninterrupted browsing experience throughout the entire flight, just like at home. The service will be rolled out gradually beginning in 2027.

New! Download the EL AL app and enjoy everything you need to know about your flight in real time, directly from your lock screen.

About six hours before departure, you will receive your flight details, terminal information and check-in counters. Later, you will also receive your departure gate, boarding times and ongoing updates along the way.

The update is available to customers using the EL AL app, subject to approval of notifications on the mobile device, Subject to the terms and Privacy Policy on the EL AL website.

We continue to enhance your travel experience, including the boarding process.

Boarding on EL AL and Sundor flights will be conducted by zones, enabling a more convenient, organized, and efficient boarding experience.

Your boarding zone number will appear on your boarding pass, and you will be able to stay updated through boarding announcements, the EL AL app, SMS notifications, and dedicated signage at the boarding gate.

This will help reduce congestion and wait times, making the boarding experience more pleasant for everyone.

Boarding will begin only when your zone number is called and will be processed through the smart gates using the Gate Reader.

Dear Customers,

In light of the current security situation and the ongoing uncertainty, we are currently offering greater flexibility for flight changes and cancellations.

At this time, EL AL’s flight schedule is operating as planned and as scheduled.

Customers holding flight tickets for departures through June 13, inclusive, may choose between receiving a credit voucher for future use or changing their travel date to the same destination. Changes to a new flight date through June 13, 2026 will be permitted with no change fees and no fare difference, subject to availability in the same class of service.

Please note that due to high demand on our flights, we cannot guarantee availability on a future flight for customers who choose to cancel or change their booking.

For flight tickets purchased through a travel agent, please contact the travel agent through whom the booking was made in order to process any change or cancellation.

This week, we took part in the Israel Day Parade in the heart of Manhattan, New York City. In a festive blue-and-white atmosphere, with a branded EL AL truck, the EL AL delegation marched alongside tens of thousands of participants. It was a great source of pride for us to take part in one of the world’s largest events in support of Israel.

We are proud to represent Israel not only in the skies, but also in the moments that strengthen the connection between Israel and communities around the world.

We’re continuing to expand our network with a new destination in the United States: San Francisco!

Starting October 25, 2026, we will operate three weekly non-stop flights between Tel Aviv and San Francisco on our Dreamliner aircraft, featuring Economy, Premium, and Business Class cabins.

The new route joins the 11 new destinations we have announced in recent months, further strengthening our route network and enhancing connectivity between Israel and one of the world’s leading hubs for innovation, technology, and business.

Today, we inaugurated the new in-flight catering facility of Tamam, part of the EL AL Group - one of the most advanced facilities in the world and the largest of its kind in kosher airline catering.

The new facility, nearly twice the size of the previous one, will enable the production of up to approximately 50,000 meals per day, almost double the previous production capacity.

We continue to invest in enhancing the travel experience, with the understanding that every detail is part of the overall journey. The new facility will allow us to expand the variety of meals served onboard, further improve product quality, and elevate the culinary standard for EL AL passengers.

The transition to full operations at the new facility will take place gradually over the coming months.

Behind every meal served onboard are dedicated people, advanced technologies, and careful attention to the smallest details - all to continue providing a thoughtful and high-quality service experience at 30,000 feet.
