🚛 First Month Completed Under the New Van Tachograph Rules

Has your operation already adapted?

Since 1 July 2026, EU regulations have extended tachograph requirements to certain light commercial vehicles between 2.5 and 3.5 tonnes operating in international road transport. This means that many van operators involved in cross-border freight movements must now comply with driving time, break and rest period regulations that previously applied mainly to heavy goods vehicles.

What does this mean in practice?
✅ Tachograph requirements now apply to many international van operations above 2.5 tonnes
✅ Driving and rest time rules must be observed and recorded
✅ Route planning and transit times may need to be reviewed

🚨 UK Safety & Security (ENS) Compliance Update for 2026

Businesses moving goods from the EU into Great Britain should be aware of increased enforcement activity surrounding Entry Summary (ENS) declarations. We can help!

The UK Government has confirmed that Safety & Security declarations remain a legal requirement for all EU freight entering Great Britain. From September 2026, authorities will place greater focus on compliance, data quality, and submission accuracy, with continued non-compliance potentially resulting in Civil Penalties.
