Gate to Europe EGTC Gate to Europe EGTC The final Decision of the Budapest Court of Justice regarding the setup of EGTC was issued on 4th May 2012.

The founding members are the local authorities of Nyíradony, Derecske, Hajdúhadház, Újfehértó (Hungary) and Săcueni, Valea lui Mihai, Cherechiu and Carei (Romania).

The European Cooperation Grouping EGTC Gate to Europe organised a meeting today in Nyíradony (HU) with its 35 member communities from Romania and Hungary. We gladly responded to their invitation to present funding opportunities in the Interreg VI-A ROHU Programme framework and answer questions from the mayors present.

HU: 2021.január 9., 20 órától újra ki és be lehet lépni Magyarországra és Romániába és szabadon mozogni a 30 km-s sávba. Fontos: nem a lakóhelytől kell számítani a 30 km-t, hanem az adott határtól ahol beléptünk az országba! (Ez eddig is így volt, csak nem mindenki számára egyértelmű). Mivel a rendelet szerint Magyarország újból zöld kategóriába tartozik ha a 30 km-s sávban mozgunk és 24 órán belül tesszük ezt nem kerülünk karanténba egyik országban sem!
RO: Începând cu ora 20:00, 9 Ianuarie 2021. vom putea călători in distanță de 30 de km la granița dintre România și Ungaria. Important: distanța de 30 de km nu se măsoară de la domiciliu, ci de la punctul de frontiera unde am intrat in țara! (Acest lucru a fost la fel și până acum, însă nu a fost clar pentru toată lumea). Având in vedere ca Ungaria este categorizata ca și țara verde dacă in termen de 24 de ore călătorim in limita a 30 de km in zona de granița nu vom fi carantinati in nici o țara!
