A Budapest Airport felkészült az UEFA Európa Liga döntőre ❗️❗️❗️
Május 31-én rendezik meg Budapesten, a Puskás Arénában az UEFA Európa Liga döntőt. A Budapest Airport a hatóságokkal közösen hónapok óta készül a mérkőzéssel összefüggő repülőtéri folyamatok gördülékeny kezelésre, a csapatok, a VIP járatok és a várhatóan több tízezer szurkoló fogadására. A Budapest Airport felhívja az utasok figyelmét, hogy a döntő napján, valamint az azt megelőző és az azt követő napon (vagyis május 30. és június 1. között) a Liszt Ferenc Nemzetközi Repülőtéren és környékén megnövekedett forgalomra, a repülőtéren pedig esetlegesen a szokásosnál hosszabb várakozási időre számítsanak.
Az érintett időszakban várható megnövekedett utasforgalom miatt a Budapest Airport arra kéri az ezeken a napokon érkező vagy induló utasokat, hogy utazásuk tervezése során az alábbi szempontokat vegyék figyelembe:
🔸Próbáljanak a járatuk indulása előtt legalább két és fél órával megérkezni a repülőtérre.
🔸A megnövekedett utasforgalom miatt előfordulhat a menetrend szerinti járatok késése. Az aktuális információkról tájékozódjanak a Budapest Airport weboldalán, vagy a légitársaságok csatornáin.
🔸Kísérjék figyelemmel az esemény ideje alatt életbe lépő menetrend- és útvonalmódosításokat a BKK honlapján.
🔸A terminálokon kihelyezett információs monitorokon vagy a Budapest Airport honlapján ellenőrizzék, hogy a 2A vagy a 2B Terminálon juthatnak át gyorsabban a biztonsági ellenőrzőponton a beszállókapukhoz
🔸A feladott poggyásszal induló utasok a gyorsabb poggyászfeladás érdekében ellenőrizzék az indulócsarnokokban elhelyezett monitorokon, hogy az önkiszolgáló poggyászfeladó automatákat tudják-e használni.
🔸A turistabuszok a szokásostól eltérően a bejárattól 2 perc sétára található új, ideiglenesen megnyitott Terminál Parkoló busztermináljában állnak meg.
🔸Az autóval vagy taxival érkezők számoljanak az esetleges útlezárásokkal és torlódásokkal, és a szokásosnál több időt szánjanak az utazásra. A taxikat a lehető legkorábban foglalják le.

‼️Budapest Airport is prepared for the UEFA Europa League final - Important information for passengers
The UEFA Europa League final will be held on 31 May at the Puskás Arena in Budapest. Budapest Airport has been preparing for several months, together with the authorities, for the seamless handling of the match-related airport processes and for welcoming the teams, VIP flights and the tens of thousands of expected fans. Budapest Airport advises passengers that they can expect increased traffic at and around Ferenc Liszt International Airport on the day of the final and on the day before and after (i.e. 30 May to 1 June), and potentially longer than usual waiting times at the airport.
Due to the increased volume of passengers expected during the affected period, Budapest Airport asks passengers arriving or departing on these days to take the following considerations into account when planning their trips:
🔸In order to reach their flights safely, please aim to arrive at least two and a half hours before the departure of your flight or earlier if indicated by your airline.
🔸Monitor the schedule and route changes that will be in effect during the event on the website of the Budapest public transport operator BKK.
🔸Unlike usual, coaches will stop at the bus terminal in the new, temporarily opened Terminal Parking, 2 minutes’ walk from the entrance.
🔸People arriving by car or taxi should be aware of possible road closures and congestion, and should allow more time than usual for their trip. Taxis should be booked as early as possible.
🔸Check on the monitors at the terminals or on our website which security checkpoint in Terminals 2A or 2B offers faster access to the boarding gates, as queue times will be displayed.
🔸If checking in baggage, look at the monitors in the check-in halls to see if they can use the self-service baggage drop-off kiosks for faster check-in.
