NORTH BALI TOUR
A full day tour visiting
BANYUMALA WATERFALL
Banyumala Twin Falls are becoming very popular in our north Bali tour
It is a slightly difficult trek down, through bamboo trails, but it is certainly worth the effort when you reach the falls.
Two waterfalls separated by rocks holding them together, and a huge swimming hole at the bottom. Enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters, after the trek down.
Banyumala Twin Waterfall are definitely worth the trek down to and this hidden paradise. It will surely be a trip to remember.
WANA GIRI HIDDEN HILL
Wanagiri Hidden Hill viewpoint is in the north of the island and it has one of the best viewpoints in Bali. It is also known as the ‘selfie peak region’
It has bamboo features such as swings, human sized bird nests, wooden teacups, lookout towers, the bow of a boat, wooden stars and tree houses.
This viewpoint originally used to be a few small roadside warungs, set up as a rest stop for the locals to have a meal and a coffee with a view. It is now a popular ‘selfie’ spot attracting tourists and locals from all over the island.
The small warungs have been relocated and the new and improved viewpoint consists of man-made bamboo amusement features overlooking Lake Buyan.
HANDARA GATE
Handara Gate is one of the most Instagrammed spot on the island. It's become a must-visit place among tourists and photography lover.
Handara Gate is actually the entrance to a golf resort. The traditional Hindu gate symbolises the entrance from the outer world to the temple, or in this case, golf course, and plays an important role in Indonesian culture, particularly in Bali.
There are many iconic places such as the Bali Gates, all over the region, that have recently become very popular locations for tourists and locals to visit because of their massive exposure on the social media platform Instagram.
Handara Gate is surrounded by lush green mountains, crater lakes and a rain forest. Creating dramatic backdrops for photos you will always cherish.
ULAN DANA BERATAN TEMPLE
Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Hindu Shaivite water temple. The temple is located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul.
Built in 1633, this temple is used for ceremonies to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Bratan as a main source of irrigation in central Bali. The 11-storey pelinggih meru in the complex is dedicated to Shiva and his consort Parvathi. Buddha's statue is also enshrined in this temple. This temple is also called Bali temple on the lake because it looks like it is floating when the Bratan river water rises.
TAMAN AYUN TEMPLE
Taman Ayun literally translates as ‘beautiful garden’ and is generally regarded as one of the most attractive temples of Bali. The Taman Ayun temple is situated in a beautiful park with trees and ponds, near the village of Mengwi in the south of Bali at about 8 km southwest of Ubud and 18 km northwest of Denpasar.
Pura Taman Ayun was built in 1634 by the Raja of Mengwi, I Gusti Agung Putu. A special temple where the deified ancestors of the Raja Dynasty of Mengwi and important gods of other temples are honored.
The Taman Ayun temple is boardered by broad canals and it can only be entered via a bridge leading to a richly ornamented candid bentar, the gate which gives access to the outer courtyard (jaba) of the temple.
