Container Protect - Protect your shipments against all hassle related to container damage.

Container damage can happen at any point in transit. When this happen, you can caught in the cycle of determining the cause, bringing about irreversible delays to your cargo’s journey.

6 Digit HS-Code mandatory for all Global Cargo

There has been an increasing focus on the accurate commodity classification under which many Customs authorities are marking Harmonised Commodity Code mandatory in the Customs Manifest declaration. Sealand will be implementing a policy to collect these 6 digit Harmonized System (HS) Codes as published by World Customs Organisation (WCO) as part of the shipping Instructions for all global cargo movements. This is to ensure Sealand and it’s Customers are compliant on providing accurate commodity information right first time to Customs authorities.

We will implement our policies in two phases:
1st October 2022: An e-mail will be sent out reminding you of the need for the missing information in case not submitted via the shipping instructions.

1st November 2022: Shipping Instructions received missing or with an incomplete 6-Digit HS code will not be processed. An e-mail will be sent requesting for the information to be provided until when a draft bill of lading will not be available.

This policy will be applicable for all Global Export, transhipment and Import cargo movements with Sealand.

How to Submit HS Code in Shipping Instructions on Sealandmaersk.com
When you are submitting your Shipping Instructions online via Sealandmaersk.com, please input the 6-digit HS Code in the dedicated field provided field in the Cargo Description section. In case of multiple HS codes all the codes need to be listed out in the cargo description field.

How to release cargo to your consignee online?

It now only takes a few clicks to arrange the release of cargo to your consignee as long your company has signed our web print agreement to allow printing of Original Bill of Lading online.

Perform a tracking of the Bill of Lading you want to release to the consignee – when on the Shipment Binder click on B/L Release.
Select the Issue Bill of Lading to other party-Consignee option. Your company needs to have signed the web print agreement in order to print Original Bill of Lading online. Release can only be made to the named consignee.
Copy of your request will be sent to your email address and you can also send a copy to the Consignee by input of an email and your consignee will be able to take delivery. There is no need to return a hard copy of the Original Bill of Lading to us.

Kamis lalu, Sealand Maersk Indonesia mengadakan offline event yaitu "Sosialisasi Cara Penggunaan SeaBot – Asisten Virtual Sealand Indonesia". Acara ini diadakan di depo kami yaitu Seacon Bintang Sejahtera dan diikuti oleh perlanggan setia Sealand Maersk Indonesia terutama EMKL dan consignee yang memiliki pengiriman dengan kami. Sayangnya karena waktu dan tempat yang terbatas, kami hanya bisa mengundang tidak lebih dari 50 partisipan.

Acara dimulai dengan perkenalan apa itu SeaBot, bagaimana cara mengakses SeaBot dan feature apa saja yang tersedia di SeaBot beserta keuntungan dan kemudahan saat menggunakannya.

Kedepannya kami akan merencanakan acara yang sama dengan harapan semua customer juga mendapatkan informasi yang sama mengenai virtual asisten kami yaitu SeaBot.
