*In 2025, APAC peak season sales grew by an average of 12.5%. This year is shaping up to be even bigger, with more shoppers heading online, chasing deals, and buying gifts earlier than ever. Use last year's numbers as your guide for planning this year's peak season.

Starting in October, the APAC peak season runs all the way to Chinese New Year in February. If there is a quiet month in there, we're still searching for it.

Let's take a look at the countries in this region:
China: Singles' Day has grown from a single day into a shopping event that runs for weeks, so demand starts building well before 11 November. Brands that wait for the date itself miss out on early shoppers, so get in on the action early. It's just as important to plan for how the season ends, since Chinese New Year brings factories and warehouses to a stop for two to four weeks. Stock that isn't already moving before the holiday begins will sit still until it's over.

Southeast Asia: Rather than one standout sales day, this region runs on a steady rhythm of sales throughout the quarter, so brands that spread their promotions and stock across the season tend to do better than those saving everything for a single shopping day. Shopping here also happens increasingly through livestreams and short-form video, meaning a strong content presence matters almost as much as the product listing itself.

India: The big festive sales open weeks before Diwali arrives. You can’t wait for the festival itself because that would put you on the back foot. Shoppers now come from metros, smaller towns, and cities, so how far a brand's delivery network reaches beyond the major metros can decide how strong its festive season really is.

Australia and New Zealand: December used to be the big month, but that's no longer the case. Online spend in Australia now peaks in November, so promotions and stock need to be ready earlier than the calendar suggests. In New Zealand, local retailers are winning the bulk of online spend on the strength of faster delivery, a reminder that in this region, speed is as much a competitive edge as price.

We're here to help brands prepare for peak season.

Peak season prep checklist: carrier capacity, inventory positioning, gift packaging, promotional calendar, three EU product identifiers per parcel or customs pulls it into manual review with fees and no timeline.

One of these is new. It goes live November 1.

Peak season 2026 is bringing a few plot twists.

More money will move through ecommerce this peak season than ever before, but that doesn't mean more brands win.

The brands that prepare well will need to look beyond demand forecasts and think about the full process from inventory arriving to customers finding and receiving their orders.

Our co-founder Nick has put together five predictions to give ecommerce brands a sneak peek of what might happen during this year’s biggest shopping period. He also shares some advice on how to handle these events.

Four friends organized a weekend trip to go golfing. It called for new golf clubs. For all of them.

Three ordered from , because they knew their parcels would be delivered on time. The other friend chose another brand. He ended up being the caddie, and his golf clubs showed up the week after the trip.

As an ecommerce brand, you’re happy about every peak season order. It adds to the volume, but then you worry about getting them all delivered on time, because peak season means longer waiting times, congested routes, and increased carrier surcharges.

Try explaining to three friends why the fourth set didn’t make it in time. There’s no version of that conversation that goes well. None. But with a 4PL, you don’t have to worry about that.

The reality of peak season is that your best-selling weeks are exactly when carriers tighten up, and if you're only shipping with one of them, you're stuck with whatever they decide to do next.

A 4PL makes peak season easier. We keep a Plan B ready before you need it, then a Plan C, then a Plan D, so the moment one lane gets crowded, your shipment's already moving down another one.

Get in touch if you want us to lighten your logistics load this peak season.

Scaling a global golf brand means juggling warehouses, regions, and regulations all at once.

Takomo's CEO Sebastian Haapahovi shares why choosing a 4PL changed how his team operates and what it's freed them up to focus on instead.

There's a very specific feeling in golf: the tee shot lands exactly where you meant it to, for once. That's what a good set of irons is built for.

Getting that set to golfers on time, wherever they're playing, is our part. Sebastian from Takomo Golf had a few words about how that's going.

A single warehouse in Hong Kong used to ship every Takomo Golf Company order, no matter where in the world it was headed.

We rebuilt that into three fulfilment centers closer to where golfers actually are. For , that meant order volume went up by more than 3,200% monthly.

And the customers, they keep ordering. The clubs arrive ready to play, not stuck somewhere between a factory and a fairway while the season moves on without them.

Dave couldn't stop talking about his new Takomo clubs on Saturday. He barely let Tom tee off before bringing them up again. So Tom had to see what all the fuss was about, and took a few shots with Dave’s clubs. Tom ordered a set of his own by Tuesday.

Every one of those new orders, wherever in the world they landed, used to ship from a single warehouse in Hong Kong. A full iron set is heavy, long, and awkward to ship, which makes for an expensive trip when there's only one place it can start from.

Takomo brought us in like a caddie: Someone to read the course and make the calls, so they could focus on the swing. We built out three fulfilment regions instead of one, and now, whenever Takomo's ready to add something new to the bag, we walk the factory floors with them before it ever ships.

Slide through for how it played out. Order volume is up more than 3,200%, and golfers across three continents are reaching for Takomo without a second thought.

Call that a birdie, maybe even an eagle.

Dave has a golf handicap of 24 and an ego several strokes better than that. Every Saturday, he gets on the practice tee and hits perfect shots. But it somehow doesn’t pan out when he gets on the course. He always ends up with at least one ball in the lake, most of them in the rough, and blames everything but his swing. Guess who is buying the first round again.

The irons, for what it's worth, had a much smoother week than Dave's short game. Made in Asia, checked and signed off before they even left, cleared through a customs desk in a language of its own, and on his doorstep with days to spare. Not bad for a set of clubs that never once complained about Dave's group chat still arguing over who cheated on the back nine.

had a real handicap too, and it had nothing to do with anyone's swing. Getting long, awkwardly-shaped equipment from a factory in Asia to golfers across three continents used to be the hard part. Now it isn't, and the only handicap left on the course belongs to Dave.

Expanding into a new market can feel like a blind shot over a hazard: You commit, and hope the ball's still there when you get to it. We build the fulfilment infrastructure that takes the guesswork out of that shot, wherever an ecommerce brand is scaling next. That means stock closer to the customer, faster delivery, and growth that doesn't outrun the operation behind it.
