I came to Hoi An in Vietnam 10 years ago just for the day and asked a random stranger if she wanted to share a boat ride. Her name was Julie and a few months later, purely by coincidence, and through exchanging FB details, i met a girl from the same village as Julie in Switzerland and they swam together on Sundays. What are the chances? I've also bumped into folks from my home town multiple times in various countries. What are the chances!

Anyway, the more you travel the more you realize how small the world can be and how people are connected to one another. And today was one of these days and I'm buzzing about it!

My 15 year old dream to see Bromo with my eyes was fulfilled today and it was like a dream!

I also found out yesterday that Bromo is Hindu and the word Bromo actually is the Javanese pronunciation of Brahma 'The Creator'. The energy of the place is out of this world and it also looks that way for real Nothing is filtered here and yes they don't look real.

It was totally worth making the extra effort to go to Cemoro Lawang the cloud closest village to Bromo so we could spend the day at the National Park.
