🦧 Did you know "Orangutan" translates to "person of the forest" 🌳

These red-furred great apes are the largest tree-dwelling mammals on Earth! They spend almost their entire lives high up in the rainforest canopy of Borneo and Sumatra.

They are also incredibly smart, sharing nearly 97% of our DNA! 🧠✨

I'm lucky to have seen them in both Borneo and now in Sumatra but unfortunately I've also witnessed the miles and miles of palm tree oil plantations which are directly threatening the survival of wild orangutans by destroying their natural rainforest habitats. We need to save these beautiful creatures!

Day 1 trekking through the jungle in Bukit Lawang, North Sumatra and boy did we hit the jackpot! I was literally showered with Orangutan rain!! Haha 😅

We were blessed to see nine Sumatran orangutans over the two days, a gibbon, loads of macaques, thomas leaf monkeys, a peacock, a hornbill, other birds. bugs (including the biggest ant ever) leeches and butterflies! And all of this was on the weekend of Sir David Attenborough's 100th Birthday which made it extra special for me!! 🥰🫶🏾

Thanks to for such an amazing two days and teaching us so much about the plants,the trees and wildlife in the jungle and for feeding us the most delicious food and singing the best jungle tunes!

For anyone wanting to do this trek I would highly recommend booking with these guys. They will arrange your transport, accommodation and are a pleasure to hang out with!

Landed in country no.4 a few days ago after a great two weeks in Malaysia with my family, and what a start to the new chapter. Back to the Clazy adventure and this time I'm determined to share at least a few more snips with you!

It's a big day for Nepal on Thursday 5th March being the General Election, and a few days ago we just happened to walk into Durbar Square in Kathmandu and saw a march for who i think it's one of the candidates which turns out isn't the interim leader Sushila Karli that I thought she might be, but she's another politician running in the election!

Anyway we got out of Kathmandu yesterday as we were told the place works be shut down meaning shops closed, curfews in place and we would be stuck in the city or even indoors for a few days. But there's still restrictions tomorrow where we are in Pokhara. Most businesses are closed and you can't drive either, so i guess we'll have some time to relax after giving in an awesome white water rafting trip today, or maybe we'll continue my plan to go for a long ass walk!!

We've been on the go go go for the past month starting from Mumbai ➡️Goa ➡️ Kerela ➡️ down to Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu ➡️Gujarat ➡️ Rajasthan ➡️ Uttar Pradesh ➡️ New Delhi.

I've been terrible at posting vids and pics of our time in the mother land, but in time I'll share the Clazy adventures we've had. All i can say is it's been the best start to an EPIC year ahead!

We're finally on the plane but all flights to and across the middle east have been cancelled. Praying for Peace in the middle east 🙏🏾❤️
