Savana Bekol
Savana bekol adalah sebuah daerah padang rumput luas di kawasan Taman Nasional Baluran, luasnya meliputi 10.000 hektare dari total 25.000 hektar luas Baluran secara keseluruhan.
Populer disebut sebagai Little Africa in Java adalah rumah bagi spesies fauna seperti kerbau, rusa, banteng, kera dan burung, juga rumah bagi tumbuhan endemik.
Salah satu tumbuhan yang diambil menjadi nama padang rumput adalah tanaman Bekol yang terhampar di area savana. Pohon Bekol (Ziziphus mauritiana) tersebar di area savana menjadi ciri khas dan simbol di area savana baluran, oleh karena itu padang rumput tersebut diberi nama savana bekol.

Colorful

This kampung (village) formerly was a dirty area, about 7 years ago group of university student together with private company took action to transform this kampung, and now it become one of tourist attraction in Malang

Wearing 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗸 is mandatory during Ijen Hiking, in order to protect hikers from the sulfur gas in the air. The sulfur gas become stronger inside the crater area
Local tour operator or individual local guide are facilitating their guests with this mask.
Then, the question will be:
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀? Indeed it is not a kind of disposable mask, this is reuseable. We use alcohol to sanitize it right after usage, wipe it, keep it in sterile plastic bag for storage in proper box. The filtration part is renewed periodically.
