In the Balinese tradition, a true life guidance or ageman essentially consists of three main pillars called tetige, which are i gama, a gama, and u gama. These three elements are a unified brotherhood and cannot be separated in their practice. I gama, which falls under the protection of lord iswara, is the dimension of philosophy, inner attitude or idep, and tatwa that serves as the foundation of a person's thinking. A gama, governed by lord brahma, regulates aspects of ethics, morality, and character or ambek to distinguish between good and evil. Meanwhile, u gama, which is under the protection of lord wisnu, manifests in ceremonies, real actions or ulah, and the rules of life. This entire order leads to the worship of mahadewa krethajnanem as a symbol of the peak of knowledge consciousness, grounded in a sense of devotion through the expression ong guru paduke bhyo namah.

A deep understanding of this ageman begins with becoming sang sane meduwe aksara, which refers to an individual who has inner sincerity in studying sacred knowledge. This sincerity will lead humans to the highest level of consciousness, which is being aware of their own body. This physical and spiritual consciousness is guarded by three sacred letters that have specific roles within the self. Aksara wrehastra or a plays the role of the beginning letter or the start of awareness, aksara swalalita or u functions as the sastra urip or the soul that animates, and aksara modre or ma acts as the ruling letter that provides protection and control over the human self. The synergy between these three aspects of ageman and the mastery of these three sacred letters is the main foundation in achieving a harmonious and rahayu life.

In the profound depths of Balinese spiritual wisdom, there is a concept known as Dengung, which describes the subtle vibrations that permeate the human form. Rather than being a simple acoustic phenomenon, Dengung is understood as the result of cellular movement acting as a bridge for the flow of prana energy. In this framework, the human body functions as a vessel that is simultaneously capable of receiving and broadcasting the delicate vibrations of life. This makes every individual a bustling intersection for subtle forces and internal sounds that can only be perceived during periods of profound quiet and stillness.

The physical anatomy plays a crucial role in this energetic exchange, with the chest serving as the central hub for our feelings and the rhythmic pulse of our existence. Meanwhile, the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet act as the primary gateways for the entry and exit of these energetic currents. It is through these specific points that humans maintain their connection with one another, with the natural environment, and with higher spiritual powers that exist beyond the self.

Ultimately, Dengung represents a state of being where a person lives in total resonance with the universe, constantly absorbing energy from the cosmos and reflecting it back into their environment. It serves as a reminder that a human being is not merely a physical object, but a vibrational field that remains constantly active between the earth and the sky. By learning to harness these vibrations and the inner whispers referred to as wisik, one can learn to translate these sensations into visual imagery. Through a process of repetitive focus and intention, these mental images can be made to condense and solidify, eventually transforming the intangible into a manifested reality.

Understanding life as a journey toward physical health and spiritual happiness requires a shift in perspective, moving from a burdened "doer" to a serene "witness."

Purification of Perception as the Foundation of Health
The initial step in achieving life harmony is filtering what enters the self-system. Life often offers sensory distractions that bind the senses, acting like a poison to mental and physical stability if followed without restraint. Conversely, by cultivating qualities such as honesty, forgiveness, and joy, one provides the best nutrition for the soul. Inner peace directly impacts physical health by reducing stress; thus, physical well-being is not merely the result of exercise, but a reflection of a mind that is clear and free from emotional burdens.

Consciousness as the Unattached Observer
The purpose of life is realized when one recognizes that they are not merely a collection of physical elements like earth, water, or air. The body is simply a changing vehicle, while the true essence of a human is the consciousness that observes these changes. By positioning oneself as a "witness," one is no longer easily tossed about by the ebbs and flows of fate or the dualities of pleasure and pain. This state creates an inner space that is vast and limitless, similar to space that remains calm regardless of the objects within it.

Releasing the Shackles of Ego
The heaviest burden in life often stems from the illusion of being the "sole doer" who controls everything. The thought that "I am doing this" or "I own that" is like a constriction that suffocates the breath of life. Pure spiritual happiness emerges when one is able to sever that attachment and realize that life is a vast flow of universal energy. When this sense of ego dissolves, anxiety about the future and regret over the past are burned away.

Consistency in Pure Awareness
To maintain sustainable health and happiness, one must be able to look across things that are temporary. Everything that changes is fleeting, while that which remains unchanged behind all phenomena is the true reality. By holding firmly to the awareness that the self is a light reflecting the beauty of the universe without being stained by the reflection, one reaches spiritual freedom. Life is no longer an exhausting struggle but a dance of consciousness filled with peace, health, and unconditional happiness.

When two people grow closer, they often create rules and boundaries to seek certainty in their relationship. However, these boundaries essentially force decisions onto others, denying them their freedom. This denial of freedom leads to suffering for the one restricted and anger for the one who set the rules when those boundaries are inevitably crossed. The source suggests that while agreements form the "body" of a relationship, freedom is its true "soul". By respecting each other's freedom, restrictive boundaries disappear, allowing for a more authentic connection.
