Yoooo everyone, finally we talk about "food", I'm not a foodie person that's why I barely post about food here, but one of this account's purposes is to introduce traditional food or cuisine from around the world.

So, let's meet "Carabikang", a traditional dessert from Central Java, Indonesia. A colorful soft dessert with a sweet taste (sweet like me). The main ingredient of this dessert is "rice flour". You can find it at traditional markets in Java mostly.

I think that's all for the beginning of the foodie journey. I'll explore more traditional food for y'all here! See ya!

"Art & Craft"
[Batik Edition]

Finally we talk about one of Cultural Immersions Aul's version, Art & Craft. Today, we are gonna talk about "Batik". If we refer to cloth, "Batik" is Indonesian traditional cloth, not that traditional, in fact it's very modern. Usually ppl wear "batik" on many occasions, such as wedding ceremony, cultural events, international meetings, etc. It's an Indonesian identity, Indonesians always introduce "Batik" as one of their amazing cultural things.

Speaking about "Art & Craft", if we refer to it, "Batik" is an art, art of decorating cloth by using wax and dye. As you see in the picture, the lady decorates a cloth by using some traditional tools, in the Indonesian language, it's called "Batik Tulis". If you look at the lady's skirt, the skirt is "batik" as well.

There are many kinds of "Batik", every region in Indonesia has their own "Batik". I can't mention the names cuz it's a lot (let's say I just don't know hehehe).

If you're an introvert, Indonesia isn't really a good place for you hahaha I'mma bring you to "Indonesians' everyday life" on this post. Indonesians love socializing with people, it doesn't matter who you are and where you are from, they will always be friendly and try to talk to you.

This picture shows how Indonesians' life, don't be surprised if you find any Indonesian playing chess on the sidewalk, sitting on the floor, smoking, and drinking coffee ☕ while enjoying life, it's really normal here in Indonesia.

You better don't bother the players or you would hear many new words from their mouth.

Raise your hand if you like cooking your own food ✋, raise your hand if you like being thrifty as well ✋, yeah that's all me, myself, and I. I like cooking my own food because it's healthier and at the same time I like being thrifty too (because I'm a cheap student atm). So, I have one tip for you to stay thrifty... That's "shopping at the traditional market" (in case of buying veggies, meats, nor fruits).

Traditional markets are everywhere in Indonesia 🇮🇩, people prefer going to traditional markets because the prices are cheaper than at the supermarket, and there are a lotsa choices there, and the things are also fresh! Not only that, shopping at the traditional market is like having a social life, even tho' the prices are cheap, there's always a moment that forces you to do a bargaining (well, I do it pretty often hehehe).

In Indonesia, some of the sellers are elderly people, it's like a culture I think because youths don't really like going to the traditional markets... But traditional markets are part of Indonesian culture.

Not much to tell, but from this caption you know that the storyteller is a thrifty person jajaja.

"Aul's Top Pick"

Am I in China?? Well, no friends, but I could be because the place is called "Chinatown" hahaha. Here we come, "Petaling Street", it's one of the busiest places in Kuala Lumpur. If you would like to travel to China but your budget isn't enough yet, I'd suggest you to come to Chinatown at Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur.

What's so special about Petaling Street? There are many special things you will find, especially if you love Chinese stuff, such as Chinese food, Chinese language or Mandarin, or Chinese boys/girls hehe. The street is always full of people, especially tourists. You also will find many fashion products there, such as clothes, glasses, bags, and shoes (you might think that you can also find it in another place), BUT bruh everything is cheap there! (Even for the branded ones...). And about the language? You don't have to worry, I'd say they're trilingual, they speak English, Chinese, and Malay.

If you happen to be in Kuala Lumpur one day, Petaling Street would be a good place to stay, it's also close to Pasar Seni Station (train station), Central Market, and Bus Stop (Free Bus GOKL). And there are many hotels around Petaling Street, I would say cheap hostels (because I am a low budget backpacker). You can also enjoy Indian stuff there, such as Indian food, Indian buildings (because Petaling Street is close to Little India), and Indian Men hehehe.

"Aulistic" is a unique and creative term that is not commonly used in everyday language. It is a coined word derived from my name, Aul. As such, "Aulistic" doesn't have a specific dictionary definition hehe.

In this context, I interpret "Aulistic" to represent my distinctive style, vision, or approach to travel photography and videography. It can signify the fusion of my name and artistic elements, showcasing my unique perspective and creativity through visual storytelling.

On this account, I'll be sharing my travel journey, including places, cultures, languages, people, and traditional food of the places I go. I dedicate this to my passion as traveler girl who loves taking pictures and videos.
