We are ideally centrally located in Blyry Business Park, Athlone just off the M6 Dublin to Galway Motorway. We specialise in a range of transport services including Home deliveries, Retail Deliveries, Cash on Delivery, Pallet Distribution, Full Loads, Refrigerated Transport and Boat Transport. We cover Nationwide daily and also the UK and the continent. We deliver everything from equipment into of

fices to 40ft Boats to Southern Spain. We currently operate 2 vans, 5 rigid trucks and over 10 articulated trucks daily. Being a member of The Pallet Network since 2008, the number 1 freight distribution service for palletised goods in Ireland and the U.K.,and the only network in Ireland and the UK that has achieved ISO9001:200O, links us to 22 other regional haulage companies throughout Ireland and over 80 in the UK. This enables us to organise collection and delivery of palletised freight and cartons/parcels on a 24hr nationwide service and 48hr UK service. In The Pallet Network all the haulage companies operate to standard procedures set out by TPN and preformances are measured so that a high standard is set to give you the highest quality service. We also operate a track and trace system, with barcodes and individual pallet numbers assigned to all goods, so that we can track each pallet.

We are also willing to give newly qualified drivers a chance and provide support to help you get started in the industry.

Job Description:

Rigid Truck Driver – Midlands Area

Quinn Transport is expanding and seeking an experienced Rigid Driver for multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections across Westmeath, Roscommon, and Longford.

Opportunity for career progression into Artic Driving if interested.

Details:

Hours: Mon–Fri, 7–8AM starts
Type of Work: Pallet deliveries using pallet truck, tail lift, or forklift (on-site)
Requirements:
Full clean C licence
Digital Tachograph & up-to-date CPC
Tail lift & pallet truck experience
Multi-drop experience (advantage, training provided)
Strong knowledge of the Midlands
Reliable, self-motivated, flexible
Benefits:

Competitive pay up to €47,000 (incl. non-taxable subsistence)
Overtime available (evening RDC runs Tues & Thurs)
Annual bonus for accident-free and well-maintained vehicle
