Lough Swilly Ferry Summer season vehicle and passenger ferry service linking Buncrana & Rathmullan (June-September)

The Lough Swilly Ferry operates a summer season ferry service with 8 return sailings from Buncrana to Rathmullan daily from the 1st June 2022 and continuing until 18th September 2022

The service is operated by Cara na nOileán Teo. who also run the Arranmore Ferry Service between Burtonport and Arranmore Island (www.arranmoreferry.com).

And just like that...our 2026 season comes to an end!

A huge thank you to everyone who travelled with us this year, the locals, visitors, families, cyclists, walkers, swimmers and everyone in between we really appreciate your support.❤️

A special thank you to our crew - David, Frank, Aaron, Connor, Emma, Josh, Kyle, Odhran, Ronan, Ryan and Sean for all their hard work throughout the season. We couldn't do it without you 👏

🚢Final two days of service for the year!

We’re down to our last two days of the Lough Swilly Ferry service for the year, we’ve had to cancel a number of sailings as we work around the exceptionally low tides.

📅 Saturday 12th September & Sunday 13th September

As we move into September, please note that our timetable changes from Tuesday, 1st September.

📅 Our final day of service this season will be Sunday the 13th September.
