EI858 departed shortly after 12:30, making it the second direct flight between Cork and Northern Spain added in the last two years.

As of today, German flag-carrier Lufthansa is back at Cork Airport, flying a twice-weekly service (Mon, Fri) to Frankfurt Airport until the end of October.

In the midst of a busy time for international air travel, we're once again supporting the Irish Aviation Authority campaign, which promotes good passenger conduct in both the airport and onboard an aircraft.

There is zero tolerance of any behaviour that has the potential to disrupt the passenger experience, impact the safety of cabin crew and ground staff or create a safety risk to the aircraft and other passengers onboard.

It's not every day you get to celebrate a 90th birthday! Today, we marked the momentous occasion with our Aer Lingus colleagues by presenting them with a special birthday cake.

Cork Airport and Aer Lingus share a strong history, and while we certainly don't have 90 years under our belt just yet, the airline has been with us since the airport opened in 1961!

Weโ€™re looking forward to welcoming 69,000 passengers this June Bank Holiday weekend, as the summer season gets into full swing!

As post-primary schools finish for the summer, many families will be jetting off on well-earned holidays. We will also welcome a large number of international visitors, coming to enjoy Cork and the South of Ireland.
