We are being inundated with messages following the Budget, and the level of frustration being expressed is impossible to ignore.

Once again, many people feel that the very real pressures they are facing have simply not been addressed.

After everything that was said in the lead-up to this Budget about the cost of living and the difficulties facing ordinary households, workers and businesses, people expected meaningful support.

Instead, many are now asking the same question: where is the relief we were promised?

We share that frustration, and we are extremely disappointed by what has been delivered.

We are reading your messages and taking on board what people are telling us from across the country.

A great evening with some great speakers and a fantastic turnout.

It was encouraging to see so many TDs in attendance, and hopefully they will relay the message back to the Government that the people of Ireland have awoken. People want a decent quality of life without feeling that they are being taxed to the limit at every turn.

A special mention to Richard O'Donoghue TD who has stood with us from the very beginning of our protests over five years ago. Richard, we thank you for your continued support and for standing by your word. You have never stopped fighting for the people who stood alongside you from day one, and that has not gone unnoticed.

The message is clear: the people of Ireland want to be heard, and they want a better quality of life for themselves and their families and if this isn’t reflected in the budget we will be taking to the streets again.
