CareCabs Limited offers specialized transfer services & personal care to assist people with disabilities, the elderly and their families in situations where there is no immediate family available to escort loved-ones to their medical appointments & other social events. This service assists clients in maintaining their independence & dignity, whilst ensuring their health & safety needs are fully pr
ovided. CareCabs clients will include people who require a suitably qualified assistant in the following situations;
• People living in residential care settings who need to attend medical & other appointments in external healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, private practitioners etc., who require assistance by a companion, healthcare assistant or nurse.
• People with significant needs, who require assistance by suitably qualified healthcare assistant or nurse to accompany them to and from appointments and who may require advocacy and care during their visit.
• People who live at home, who require assistance by suitably qualified healthcare assistant or nurse to accompany them to and from appointments and who require care during their visit.
• People with significant disability, who require one to one care, who wish to attend family or other social occasions such as weddings or funerals. In such cases an escort is available to attend to our client’s needs for the duration of the occasion.
• People who live at home, who require a companion to attend appointments, family gatherings and social events whose families are not available. Our vehicles meet the highest standards for transferring clients with disability and mobility needs and can accommodate most wheelchair types. We also offer our own wheelchair to clients when required. Our services include

Advocacy Service
Our Advocacy service, which is performed by fully trained Healthcare Professionals, ensures that the healthcare intervention has the best chance of a positive outcome for our client and results in immediate feedback for the Client’s family, their Residential Care Home and the client’s General Practitioner.
